The accounting records are maintained on an accrual basis. <br />1 The reporting for Enterprise Funds is similar to comparable private enterprises. Creditors, legislators, or the <br />general public can evaluate the performance of a municipal enterprise on the same basis as they can the <br />performance of investor-owned enterprises. <br />Water Utility Fund -used to account for the operation of the City-owned water system. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Sewer Utility Fund -used to account for the operation of the City-owned sewer system. <br />Street Light Fund -used to account for the operation of the City-owned street lights within subdivisions <br />and the priority street lights throughout the City. <br />Recycling Utility Fund -used to account for the operation of the City's curbside recycling program and <br />annual recycling days. <br />-62- <br />
