<br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-08-m <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT #_ RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM JEFF ANDERSON FOR A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT TO OPERATE AN <br />ALTERNATIVE HEALING CLINIC ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 14341 <br />POTASSIUM STREET NW. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Jeff Anderson for a home <br />occupation permit to establish an alternative healing clinic within the principal dwelling on the <br />property generally known as 14341 Potassium Street and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 3, Chestnut Hill 2nd Addition, Anoka County; Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIDS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF :MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />1. That on July 6th, 2007 Jeff Anderson, herein after referred to as "Applicant'" properly <br />applied for a home occupation permit to establish and operate an alternative healing clinic <br />in his home. <br /> <br />2. That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public <br />hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the City Code on August 2nd, 2007, and that said <br />public hearing was properly advertised and that th~ minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is zoned R-l Single Family Residential. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is a single family urban lot. <br /> <br />5. That alternative healing clinics are not a permitted use in the "R-l Single Family <br />Residential District. <br /> <br />6. That the Applicant has provided documentation to support that the home occupation will <br />be conducted within the private dwelling on the property, that the area set aside for the <br />home occupation does not exceed 20% of the total floor area of the private dwelling, and <br />the operation will not include any employment of persons not residing in the private <br />dwelling in the performance of the home occupation. <br /> <br />7. That the Applicant will reside at the location of the proposed home occupation. <br /> <br />8. That the Applicant has stated that there will be no exterior storage of business equipment <br />and materials. <br /> <br />9. That the Applicant proposes to service approximately 1-3 clients per week. <br /> <br />48 <br />
