<br />Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-06-139 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT FOR TOWING SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on council direction, the City of Ramsey Police Department released <br />requests for proposals for contracted towing services for the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, notice was published in the Anoka County Union for two weeks, May 18, <br />2007 and May 25,2007 and the deadline for proposals was Friday, June 1,2007 at 4:30 p.m.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, one (1) proposal for the towing services was received and met all of the <br />requirements of the Request for Proposal. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council authorizes contracted towing services with North Star <br />Towing, for a two (2) year term, commencing upon adoption of this resolution. <br /> <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Jeffrey, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Look <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br />
