City. While she would not propose <br />bringing it forward as a~ tax on residents, she would like to explore the options that might be <br />available' with alternativ~ fun'ding. She would like to bring the topic. forward. to a worksession <br />for discussion. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen stated as an expansion to that, he would like the discussion to include a <br />potential indoor facility. He would be interested in a discussion to see what could be done with <br />moving that along. <br /> <br />4. China DelellatioiJ. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated there will be a delegation coming from China. There will not be any costs <br />on the City's part. They are working with the Governor on trade and a. few things, and .the <br />Governor may be doing his radio show from the Ramsey Municipal Center.,. Jim Deal is looking <br />at posting something; things have not been finalized yet. There will be a letter going out in <br />regards to that. He indicated that a gentleman they are familiar with is still involved with this. <br />He will get back to the Council with more details. <br /> <br />5. Global Warminll, SDeakinll Event held bv Senator JUDllbauer <br /> <br />Councilmember Look announced Senator Jungbauer will be speaking tomorrow night at 7:00 <br />p.m. in the Alexander Ramsey Room concerning global warming. Senator. Jtti1gbauer has been <br />traveling around the State speaking on this topic. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec indicated there are some people that saw the article in the Anoka County Union <br />about Senator Jungbauer coming to Ramsey and would like to know if there is an opportunity for <br />rebuttals or comments, or if it will just be 'a presentation. .
