Absent: Droegemueller. <br /> <br />COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />Receive Anoka County's Vision and Mission Statement <br />Mr. Boos encouraged Commission members to familiarize themselves with the contents. <br /> <br />Update on moratorium issue and potential for an environmental component of the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan <br />Mr. Boos talked about passage by the Council of a recent 30-day moratorium. Passage of this will <br />afford the opportunity for definition of the actual existing MUSA line and then proceed with planning <br />accordingly. <br /> <br />Chairperson Cook commended Council on implementation of a moratorium for proper exploration <br />and associated planning. <br /> <br />Receive Park Shelter Bid Request <br />A draft for Commission review was distributed for shelters to be installed at Rivers Bend and Emerald <br />Pond Parks. Estimated life of the shelters is 50-75 years. <br /> <br />Receive revised Lawful Gambling Fund Application (and update on 1997 projects) <br />Copies were distributed based on March 1997 changes. <br /> <br />Update on the Alpine Estates Subdivision (with status of Alpine Parks development) <br />This item relates directly to advertising for grading bids to be approved at the April 22, 1997, Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Purchase of 60 Acres <br />Chairperson Cook inquired about the status of the proposed purchase of land. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Ostrum to adjourn.
