Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #07- 08 -xxx <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT <br />TO ESTABLISH AN OPERATE AN ALTERNATIVE HEALING CLINIC ON THE <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 14341 POTASSIUM STREET NW BASED ON FINDINGS <br />OF FACT # AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #07- 07 -XXX adopting <br />Findings of Fact # for this use and herein approves the Home Occupation Permit. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />On July, 6"', 2007 a Home Occupation Permit ( "Permit ") was issued by the City of Ramsey <br />( "City ") to Jeff Anderson ( "Permit Holder ") for a home occupation to establish and alternative <br />healing clinic within the principal dwelling on the property generally known as 14341 Potassium <br />Street NW and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 1, Block 3, Chestnut Hill 2nd Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />( "Subject Property: ") <br />This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.05 and 9.11.04 of the Ramsey City Code. The <br />conditions of this permit are as follows: <br />1. That this resolution shall allow for the establishment and operation of an alternative <br />healing clinic within the principal dwelling located on the Subject Property. <br />2. Should the Permittee die or move to a new location, the Permit shall be automatically <br />terminated, except that in the case of death, should a surviving spouse or child, residing at <br />the same address, desire to continue the home occupation, written notice to that effect <br />shall be given to the City Administrator and the City Council may authorize continuation <br />of the Permit without further hearing. <br />3. The area devoted to the home occupation shall not exceed twenty percent (20 %) of the <br />total floor area of the private dwelling. <br />4. Adequate off - street parking shall be provided by the Permit Holder. <br />5. There shall be no business signs visible from the exterior of the home. <br />6. There shall be no exterior indications of the home occupation displayed. <br />-104- <br />
