Ordinance 907 -09- <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 5 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE MUNCIPAL <br />REGULATIONS CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 5.08 (PUBLIC NUISANCE), 5.10 <br />(WEEDS) and SECTION 5.12 (CONDITIONS OF PREMISES) OF CITY CODE <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City <br />of Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2: REPEAL: Sections 5.10 (Weeds) and 5.12 (Condition of Premises ) are <br />herein repealed. <br />SECTION 3 AMENDMENTS <br />Section.5.08 (Pubic Nuisances) shall be amended to read as follows: <br />5.08 Public Nuisance <br />5.08.01 Purpose. The purpose of this section is to take all reasonable measures within <br />the City's jurisdiction to prevent the establishment of activities that maintain or permit a <br />condition which unreasonably annoys, injures or endangers the health, morals, decency, <br />safety, or public peace so that such activities do not affect the comfortable enjoyment of life <br />or property. <br />5.08.02 _Definitions. When used in this Section, the following words shall have the <br />meanings given them in this subsection: <br />—201— <br />
