Sound Measuring Device — a decibel meter that meets standards set by the <br />Specifications for Sound Level Meters published by the American National Standards <br />Institute as referenced in Minnesota Rules Chapter 7030 (see 5.08.03, Incorporation by <br />Reference). <br />Sound Pressure Level — in decibels, means 20 times the logarithm to the base 10 of <br />the ratio of the pressure to the reference pressure. The reference pressure shall be 20 <br />micronewtons per square meter. <br />vehicle.
