CASE # 4 1 <br />DECLARE RESIDENCE LOCATEDAT 5860157 LANE <br />SURPLUS PROPERTY <br />By: Michael McDowall, Engineering Technician IV <br />Background: <br />The City had acquired the residential property located at 5860 157 Lane for the purpose <br />of establishing a future street connection with the property being developed to the south. <br />While the City has need of the property, the existing residence will need to be removed to <br />facilitate the actual street connection. Recent interest has been expressed for the purchase <br />of the structure for the intent of relocating it to another lot. <br />Financial Impact: <br />Revenue is anticipated from this action and no funding is required. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff is recommending that this structure be declared as surplus property and that staff be <br />authorized to advertise in the Anoka County Union for its sale.
