The table below presents a summary of assessment costs to both the Area 1 and Area 2 <br />property owners as well as the total cost to the City for each of these options: <br />Staff research continues on the drainage easement over the two westernmost Assmussen <br />lots. The dedication of the drainage and utility easements on the plat state that the fee <br />owners at the time "do hereby donate and dedicate to the public for public use forever the <br />Street, Lane, utility and drainage easements as shown on the plat." There are no special <br />conditions mentioned on the transfer deed. Staff will contact the Assmussen's for the <br />documentation they feel gives them the expressed rights to vacation of the drainage and <br />utility easement.
