Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #07- 08 -XXX <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION OF A TREADMILL TO THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY TO BE GIVEN AWAY AS PART OF A PRIZED DRAWING AT ITS <br />ANNUAL BUSINESS APPRECIATION DAY EVENT. <br />WHEREAS, annually the City's Ramsey Economic Development Authority holds a <br />Business Appreciation Day event; and <br />WHEREAS, at this event prizes are given away to participants; and <br />WHEREAS, Life Fitness of Ramsey has donated a treadmill valued at $2,499 to be <br />given away during a prized drawing at this event; and <br />WHEREAS, this generous donation needs to be acknowledged and accepted by the <br />Ramsey City Council. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, to hereby accept the donation <br />of a treadmill from Life Fitness to be given away as a prize during a drawing at its annual <br />Business Appreciation Day golf outing. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof. <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 24th day of August, 2007. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />M&Z <br />
