The State will drive it but we do not want <br />County money to go anywhere but #116. The bridge over the river ought to be in there. To get <br />the alignment should be a priority. She added that Anoka County Commissioner Dennis Berg <br />feels the City is lacking on #116. <br /> <br />It was decided that a special Road and Bridge Committee meeting would be held on Monday, <br />May 19, 1997, at 5:30 p.m., to allow for more discussion on this issue. <br /> <br />Case #4: Receive Correspondence on Sunwood Drive Speed Limits <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the necessary studies to determine the appropriate speed <br />limits on the two newly constructed segments of Sunwood Drive had been completed and the <br />recommendations are as follows: The speed limit will be 40 miles (mph) on the western segment <br />through the Anoka Electric Cooperative Energy Park, and 35 mph through the eastern segment <br />between C.S.A.H. #5 and C.R. #57. <br /> <br />It was agreed that these speeds seem reasonable. <br /> <br />No action necessary. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beyer, Zimmerman and Haas Steffen.
