Councilmember Zimmerman commented that some of the discussion of #116 is that we were <br /> looking for a hook-up to Highway #10. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec agreed that #116 is definitely a high priority. <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen added that the City will not take back T.H. #47 unless it's <br />improved and brought up to state standards. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski expressed concern about snow plowing and maintaining #47 as a City street. <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen stated that anything is better than what we have now and T.H. #47 <br />cannot take on more traffic. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder stated that staff will put together a narrative, mark it draft, and send it to the <br />County. We will also find out what the statutes say about turn-backs. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Ben Deemer, 14501 Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW, Ramsey, stated that an on-going problem is <br />resolution of the sale of property for Sunwood Drive. He stated that the City has to make him a <br />new certificate of survey and they will try to get this easement removed from his certificate. The <br />County has said there's nothing to vacate. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder stated that the City has agreed to vacate its rights to the old town road #57. We <br />vacate our rights to the County and the County will vacate their rights, etc. <br /> <br />It was determined that the City Attorney should review this and that staff should do what it takes <br />to get this taken care of. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE INPUT <br /> <br />1) Schedule Meeting <br /> <br />The Road and Bridge Committee asked that a date for another special Road and Bridge <br />Committee meeting be scheduled at the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />Road and Bridge Committee/May 19, 1997 <br /> Page 5 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
