ROAD AND BRIDGE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Road and Bridge Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 10, <br />1997, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />Anoka County Engineer Jon Olson <br />Anoka County Commissioner Dennis Berg <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman called the regular meeting of the Road and Bridge Committee <br />meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. and suggested beginning with Case #2 since Mr. Olson and Mr. <br />Berg were present for that discussion. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #2: Establish Priority for County Transportation Projects <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that it was suggested that the Road and Bridge Committee <br />provide input to the County about project priorities. He noted a draft letter based upon <br />discussion at previous meetings. We are looking at C.R. #116 as the highest priority because it <br />will service our commercial corridor. The County currently has one project listed for that road. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman asked about the wetlands. <br /> <br />Anoka County Engineer Olson stated that it all depends on which alignment the City takes. He <br />recommends one that lines up with something across the road (147th). <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen asked how the City feels about that. <br /> <br />Road and Bridge Committee/June 10, 1997 <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
