<br />Parks Supervisor Riverblood thought it would compliment each other and not hinder it. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock thought the coordinator would work on recreational scheduling and <br />sports activities within the City. <br /> <br />· Meet Candidates for City Administrator 6:00 - 8:00 pm July 12, 2007 at Municipal <br />Center <br /> <br />Parks Supervisor Riverblood stated there is a "Meet the Candidates" at City Hall going on for <br />City Administrator tonight. Commissioners are encouraged to meet the prospective candidates. <br /> <br />· Elmcrest Park Trail <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock stated when she was going through Elmcrest Park, the trail going into the <br />neighborhood south of the main drive to Uranium, dead ends and then continues again further <br />down the road so people have to go onto the road to go back to the trail. She thought it was <br />strange to have it do this. <br /> <br />Parks Supervisor Riverblood stated they are going to eventually address this, and they are going <br />to try to put in a small bridge over the culvert. <br /> <br />· Updates for Residents on Park Expenditures <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock stated she talked with many residents about the projects they have been <br />doing and she wondered if they could include an explanation in the newsletter to explain to the <br />community where the funds are coming from to do the different projects so they get a feel the <br />money is not coming out oftheir taxes. <br /> <br />Parks Supervisor Riverblood thought this was a good idea. He stated the information is out there <br />but it is hard to explain every expenditure. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock thought they could explain where they are getting the funds for large <br />projects. She thought more P/R needed to be done. <br /> <br />Parks Supervisor Riverblood thought it would be very appropriate for a Commission to do a <br />report on Cable TV. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock thought that would be a good idea and volunteered to be contacted. <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission/July 12, 2007 <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />
