Commissioners are encouraged to meet the prospective candidates.

· Elmcrest Park Trail

Commissioner Shryock stated when she was going through Elmcrest Park, the trail going into the
neighborhood south of the main drive to Uranium, dead ends and then continues again further
down the road so people have to go onto the road to go back to the trail. She thought it was
strange to have it do this.

Parks Supervisor Riverblood stated they are going to eventually address this, and they are going
to try to put in a small bridge over the culvert.

· Updates for Residents on Park Expenditures

Commissioner Shryock stated she talked with many residents about the projects they have been
doing and she wondered if they could include an explanation in the newsletter to explain to the
community where the funds are coming from to do the different projects so they get a feel the
money is not coming out oftheir taxes.

Parks Supervisor Riverblood thought this was a good idea. He stated the information is out there
but it is hard to explain every expenditure.

Commissioner Shryock thought they could explain where they are getting the funds for large
projects. She thought more P/R needed to be done.

Parks Supervisor Riverblood thought it would be very appropriate for a Commission to do a
report on Cable TV.

Commissioner Shryock thought that would be a good idea and volunteered to be contacted.

Park and Recreation Commission/July 12, 2007
Page 4 of 5
