It will be held at Fire Station <br />#1, located at 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />MN. Come meet your local firefighters, check out the cool <br />equipment and see the "big red trucks". Please be aware <br />that this flushing, while it is necessary, will <br />create a disturbance in the system causing <br />low pressure and it may cause your water to be discolored. <br />Although the water may be discolored by iron, it is fit for <br />human consumption. It may, however, stain clothes that <br />are being washed. To alleviate this problem, you may <br />want to fill your washer with water and check on its clarity <br />before adding your clothes. We appreciate your patience <br />and regret any inconvenience that this may cause. Ramsey Wants YOU.. <br /> <br />Get Involved: Serve as an <br />Advisor to the City Council <br /> <br />The city of Ramsey is looking for residents who <br />are interested in participating in the governance of their <br />community by serving as a board or commission mem- <br />ber on one of its Advisory Commissions. The purpose <br />of an advisory commission is to make specific recom- <br />mendations to the City Council on current issues facing <br />the city. <br />New members will begin serving in January <br />2008 and terms typically last four years, with some <br />exceptions. Meetings are held once per month at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center. Most Advisory Commission <br />members are paid a $25.00 per meeting stipend. <br />Please visit the city's website at www.ci.ramsey. <br />mn.us and click on "Advisory Commissions" to view <br />information on the current vacancies or to print an appli- <br />cation.
