If you are an amateur photo enthusiast, this is your chance. The city of Ramsey <br />Happy Days Festival is having its third photo contest. The categories are as follows. <br /> <br />· Furry and Feathers Friends: Capture a pose that will include wild animals, birds etc. No pets please. <br /> <br />· Landscapes: Capture the natural beauty, colors or geologic interest of the city of Ramsey. <br /> <br />· Vintage: Pictures of Ramsey circa 1974. <br /> <br />Information is posted on the city website at www.ci.ramsey.mn.us. and then clicl<- on "Community Events". <br />If you have questions, please contact Tim Gladhill at 763-576-4308. <br /> <br /> <br />Another Awesome <br />National Night Out in Ramsey! <br /> <br />Ramsey's 2007 National Night Out (NNO) city-wide event was <br />celebrated by over 2,900 residents and involved more than 1,700 house- <br />holds. Fifty-three registered NNO block parties enjoyed visits from the <br />I Police and Fire Departments, McGruff and Scruff, and our City Council. <br />NNO is always the first Tuesday in August and planning begins <br />early in the year.
