<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resoluti~n and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 07-08-_ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF BROOKFIELD FOURTH <br />ADDITION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Oakwood Land Development, Inc., hereafter referred to as "Developer", properly <br />applied for fmal plat approval of the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Outlot A, BROOKFlELD THIRD ADDITION, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the 'Subject Property'); <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 30, 2004, the City of Ramsey received an application and sketch <br />plan for Brookfield Addition from Oakwood Land Development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan on January 6, 2005 and <br />March 3, 2005; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on March 22, 2005 the City Council reviewed the sketch plan and approved the <br />Developer's request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the designated land use of the <br />Subject Property from rural developing to low density residential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 30, 2005, the City received written notification from Metropolitan <br />Council that the request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment had been approved. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 8,2005, tbe Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing <br />regarding the proposed preliminary plat; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission reviewed the preliminary plat on <br />August 11, 2005, and recommended that park dedication be satisfied with a cash payment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 13, 2005, the City Council approved the preliminary plat with <br />contingencies that included revision, of the City's Comprehensive Plan to indicate an' alignment for <br />167th Avenue that is south of the Plat boundary; and <br /> <br />'VHEREAS, the City's update of the Comprehensive Plan, that was in process during the time <br />frame of the Brookfield preliminary plat review, was to include the realignment of 167th Avenue N.W.; <br />however, the City has delayed 'that Plan update and herein confrrms the intent to include the <br />realignment of 167th Avenue N.W. in the next Comprehensive Plan update; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 26, 2007, the Developer submitted the fmal plat documents for <br />Brookfield 4th Addition. <br /> <br />-142- <br /> <br />- <br />
