<br />CASE# fa <br /> <br />CONSIDER AWARD BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 07-32 <br />FOX RIDGE STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS <br />By: Steven J. Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />This project entails the installation of 1300 feet of reinforced concrete storm sewer along <br />Potassium Street between 172nd Lane and Potassium Court which will correct the <br />standing water at these two intersections which has resulted in pavement failure. This may attributed to the <br />very competitive market at the current time as attested to by the large number of bids <br />received. Although this contractor has not performed work for the Ramsey in the past, he <br />has perfom1ed similar work successfully for the City of Rogers. <br /> <br />Financial Considerations: <br /> <br />Financing for this project will come from the Storm Water Utility. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends the contract for Improvement Project 07-32, Fox Ridge Storm Sewer <br />Improvements be awarded to Doboszenski and Sons Inc., the lowest responsible bidder, <br />in the amount of $78,383.50. <br /> <br />-239- <br /> <br />
