HIGHWAY #10 REDEVELOPMENT PLAN VERBIAGE <br />By: James D. Gromberg, Economic Development Coordinator <br /> <br />CASE #2 <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Commission has now completed the first two sections of the redevelopment plan for <br />Highway #10 Northwest. This allows for a completion of the review up to its intersection with <br />Ramsey Boulevard Northwest. The EDC at the last meeting requested that I begin the <br />development of the verbiage that will accompany the proposed land use map to the City Council. <br /> <br />It is my understanding that this document will include the reasoning and the types of uses that are <br />being proposed for the area along Highway #10. With this understanding I have developed the <br />attached outline for this document. As a preliminary document the EDC should consider, in <br />addition to the pros and cons of the development, but also what the commission believes that <br />each type of area should include in the way of standards and development criteria. <br /> <br />The EDC should review the document and make as many or as few changes as they deem <br />necessary. Additional space has been provided for each commissioners feelings about the <br />proposed changes. The commission should keep in mind that this is their proposal about how <br />they feel Highway # 10 should develop and so should arrive at a consensus for the proposed plan. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />No official action is required at this time however the EDC should review and make changes to <br />the proposed text of the redevelopment plan for Highway #10. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />Economic Development Coordinator <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />EDC: 06/05/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
