FC CASE <br /> <br />RECEIVE BIDS AND AWARD CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF ONE <br />SKID STEER LOADER <br /> By: Jessie Hart, Finance Officer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On May 27, 1997, the City Council authorized solicitation of sealed bids for one skid steer loader <br />which was budgeted out of the Adopted 1997 General Fund Budget. <br /> <br />The request for bids were placed in the Anoka Union and the Construction Bulletin for two <br />weeks with the deadline for submission of 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 1997. As of the <br />writing of this case, three copies of the specifications had been mailed directly to local vendors, <br />one copy had been requested by a company that saw the request for bids in the Construction <br />Bulletin and one sealed bid had been received. <br /> <br />The bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 1997.
