FC CASE <br /> <br /> ATTORNEY CONTRACT <br />By: Jessie Hart, Finance Officer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The current three-year contract with the firm of Randall, Dehn and Goodrich is set to expire on <br />December 31, 1997. <br /> <br />In late 1991, the City requested proposals for general legal and prosecution services from area <br />law firms. Based on that process, the Council awarded a three-year contract to Randall, Dehn <br />and Goodrich for 1992, 1993 and 1994. This contract was re-negotiated for an additional three- <br />year contract for 1995, 1996 and 1997. <br /> <br />A copy of the current contract is attached to this case for reference. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Recommend City Council to direct staff to prepare proposals for general legal and prosecution <br />services for a minimum three-year contract; <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />Recommend City Council to direct staff to begin negotiating with the firm of Randall, Dehn and <br />Goodrich for an additional three-year contract. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />Copies also distributed to: <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />FC: 07/22/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
