<br />WHEREAS, the development occurring in the vicinity of the Subject Property consists oflow and <br />medium density residential, and Ramsey Town Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, development of the Subject Property with cOminercial versus industrial uses would <br />compliment the residential and Town Center uses currently being developed in the vicinity; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on September 6, 2007, conducted a public <br />hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the Property Owner's request for an <br />amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a land use designation change of the <br />Subject Property from Places to Work to Places to Shop. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary documentation to <br />Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan to change the land use <br />designation to Places to Shop. <br /> <br />3) That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City's receipt of notification of <br />approval from Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the follovving voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolntion was declared du1y passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Conncil this the _ (h <br />day of , 2007. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-09- _ <br />Page 2 of2 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />- <br />
