Absent: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Elvig. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Authorize Plan Preparation for Bunker Lake Boulevard Watermain <br />Improvements <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the purpose of this project is to connect the watermains <br />installed as [part of the NW Sewer and Water Project to watermains installed by Ramsey Town <br />Center. The pipes will be installed in the right-of-way of Bunker Lake Boulevard from Town <br />Center Drive west to near "the intersection of Armstrong Boulevard and Bunker Lake Boulevard. <br />These proposed watermains must be operational in order to connect the new wells to the City <br />system. The wells are scheduled to be completed by June 1, 2007. A proposal was requested <br />from Bolton & Menk, Inc. for this work. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen and seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey to adopt <br />Resolution #06-09-292 authorizing preparation of plans and specifications for Bunker Lake <br />Boulevard Watermain Improvements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Strommen, Jeffrey, Cook, Olson and Pearson. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Elvig. <br /> <br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />1) Happy Days <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey announced that Happy Days is this weekend. The parade route has <br />changed - it will be coming down Sunwood Drive. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that the White Sidewalls, who will be playing for the event, <br />have a big tent arranged for if it rains. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook commented that the kick off is the teen dance on Friday night. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson and seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />The special meeting of the City Council adjourned at 5:42 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br />l~~ <br />/ - <br />J s.
