We are recommending that <br />the formal adoption occur at the regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. <br /> <br />The public hearing dates must be certified to Anoka County by Friday, September 14, 2007; <br />therefore, the City Council must make a decision as to the dates selected for the 2008 public <br />hearing(s) at tonights meeting. <br /> <br />Funding Source: <br /> <br />None required. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends Council approval of the City of Ramsey's payable 2008 proposed tax levy in <br />the amount of $9,059,173 and to schedule the City of Ramsey's initial budget public hearing on <br />Monday, December 3, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) on Monday, <br />December 10, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend Council adopt Resolution #07-09-XX Approving the Proposed 2007, <br />Payable 2008, Tax Levy. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />Interim City Administrator <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />FC: 09/11/07 <br />
