<br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated the only way general fund monies would be in the <br />funds would be if the T-Mobile project would move forward. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner OIds, seconded by Commissioner Shryock, to request the City Council <br />consider purchasing some elements to be used at the Happy Days event. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Johns, Commissioners Olds, Shryock and LaMere. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Barr, Erickson, and Hansen. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns wondered if they wanted to have anything at Happy Days with regard to the <br />equipment being set up, such as a comment or feedback card or leaflet. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood thought they could have cards with contact information for <br />component selection. <br /> <br />Commissioner LaMere thought they should get the cable tv people out there to cover some of <br />this. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns wondered if this will be set up for the evening when the dance is going on. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood was not sure because details have not been worked out but <br />thought it would be nice. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns wondered if they would need a waiver be signed or have safety equipment. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated they are checking on if they need a waiver but the <br />kids should have safety equipment. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns thought if they were going to send out flyers they should include information <br />about needing safety equipment. <br /> <br />Commissioner Olds thought they could have an email address just for the skate park for <br />comments. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood stated they could make it a component of their website and <br />have them vote for components and leave comments on line. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns wondered if they could get comments from kids before finalization of their <br />budget. <br /> <br />Commissioner Olds thought they should get it before they finalize the budget so they know how <br />much they will need to budget. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Riverblood thought they could get 3-d photos from the vendor to put <br />on the website for voting from the kids. <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission/August 9, 2007 <br />Page 3 of5 <br />
