All present voted in favor - Motion carried. COMMISSION INPUT 1) Set Charter Agenda and Schedule Date(s) for Next Meeting(s) Consensus of the Commission was to schedule the next Charter Commission meeting for Thursday, September 20, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. The topics will be the review of Chapter 4.5 - Attorney Goodrich will provide language. One of the topics for a future agenda was review of the City's organizational study. It was determined that was a moot point now that the decision of whether or not to change to a City Manager form of government had been voted on and recommended. The Commission had earlier in the year received a model charter and it is the hope that between now and September, the members will have had a chance to review it and comment. Discussion of the model charter will be placed on the agenda. 2) Review Year End Summary Letter to Judge Commissioner Bertzyk noted a date discrepancy in the letter which will be corrected and also wanted the City Clerk to verify the four current members on the Commission who have applied for reappointment. The four members are Benjamin Deemer, Lauri Ebel, Hannah LaMere, and Steve Simenson. It was noted that the Commission prefers to send a year-end summary letter to the Judge versus just sending minutes of the meetings as is done by some cities. Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Fischer to accept the letter with the date of the April meeting amended and forward it to Chairperson LaMere for signature and finally to Judge Schurer, according to State Statutes. . All present voted in favor - Motion carried. ADJOURNMENT Consensus of the Commission was to adjourn the meeting.
