Mr. Umland asked if there will be a fence all the way around the turn around.

The applicant stated his intention would be to put the fence on the inside of the cul-de-sac for
security reasons and run it back up to the north property line and keep it far enough away to allow
for snow storage.

City Engineer Jankowski stated the City would request 7-10 feet for adequate snow storage along
. the cul-de-sac.

The applicant did not believe that would be an issue. He suggested adequate landscaping be placed
along the cul-de-sac but the question is who would maintain that and he thought it should be the
adjoining property owners because it will be outside of the boundaries of his property.

City Engineer Jankowski stated the cul-de-sac is being dedicated as a public cul-de-sac so any
landscaping placed within the right-of-way will be the City's responsibility to maintain so they
would need to look at the landscaping to see what would be the best kind to maintain. He suggested
some type of ornamental trees.

Motion by Board Member Nixt, seconded by Board Member Cleveland, to close the public hearing.

Motion Carried.
