Background: <br /> <br />In 2005, the City and the Metropolitan Council approved a Comprehen~ive Plan <br />Amendment for two residential parcels on the corner of Ramsey Blvd and Bunker Lake <br />Blvd. The change was from Places to Work to Places to Shop. Along with the plat of <br />Regency Pond 4th Addition, TSM Development is requesting a Zoning Amendment to <br />officially rezone the property from E-1 Employment to B-1 Business. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Final plat exhibit <br />c) City Council meeting minutes dated August 28, 2007 <br />d) Proposed Ordinance <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />The City attempted to notify property owners within 700 feet of the Subject Property. of <br />the public hearing, in accordance with City Code. <br /> <br />Funding Source: <br /> <br />All staff costs associated with the review of land use applications l;ll"e paid for by the <br />applicant. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />This.zoning amendment is being processed along with the final plat for Regency Pond 4th <br />Addition. The ordinance was introduced at the August 28, 2007 City Council meeting <br />and is now eligible for adoption. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Planning Commission reviewed the zoning amendment at their August 2, 2007 <br />meeting and recommended approval.
