C.Cf Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #07-09-XXX RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 2ND PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ALLIED BLACKTOP FOR DIVISION A OF THE 2007 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM (IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS 07-01 THROUGH 07-07) WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for the above-referenced work on April 24, 2007; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2007 Street Maintenance Program, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, on June 12,2007 the Ramsey City Council adopted resolution #07-06-140 awarding Division B to Allied Blacktop Inc. WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Allied Blacktop in the amount of$27,408.85. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Allied Blacktop Inc. for .Improvement Project 2006 Street Maintenance Program - Division A in the amount of $27,408.85. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is uot included iu resolutious approving payment of bills for the date of September 25, 2007. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a sigued copy of this resolution.
