ORDINANCE #07-14 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 5 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE MUNICIPAL REGULATIONS CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC- TIONS 5.08 (PUBLIC NUISANCE), 5.10 (WEEDS) and SECTION 5.12 (CONDI- TIONS OF PREMISES) OF CITY CODE The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1 AUTHORITY This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of Ramsey. SECTION 2 SUMMARY The following official summary of Ordinance #07-14 has been approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. This Ordinance #07-14 replaces the existing nuisance section in City Code, eliminates separate sections for weeds and condition of premises regulations, and adds significant enforcement mechanisms for the City to adequate address City Code violations. SECTION 3 EFFECTIVE DATE The effective date of this ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and publication, subject to City Charter Sec- tion 5.07.
