<br />Interim City Administrator Nelson thanked the Council for the opportunity to serve the <br />community in this way. She stated she cares deeply about this community and where they are <br />headed. Hopefully in the last nine months they have been able to move forvvard in a positive <br />way. The City has a tremendous staff and a tremendous department head group that she has had <br />an opportunity to work with. She looks forward to KUrt Ulrich coming on and transitioning into <br />this organization, and working with this great group of staff. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to adopt Resolution <br />#07-09-212 commending Heidi Nelson for excellent leadership as Interim City Administrator. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Strommen, Dehen, Elvig, <br />Look, and Olson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec. announced the Happy Days Festival schedule of events, beginning Friday, <br />September 14th. He announced the schedule is available on the City web site and there are <br />posters at several of the businesses in the area. He announced the Hope Walk will be held on <br />September 16th at noon, beginning atCoborn's, followed by live music at Diamonds. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to approve the <br />agenda as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
