<br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-09-236 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED 2007, PAYABLE 2008, TAX LEVY AND <br />SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING DATES <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the following proposed levies for certified 2007, payable 2008, be levied upon the <br />taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the <br />following purposes: <br /> <br />GENERAL LEVY <br />Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br />Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated <br />Collected as Property Tax EDA Levy <br />Collected as Property Tax General Levy <br /> <br />$ 730,000 <br />393,375 <br />6.880.338 <br /> <br />$8,003,713 <br /> <br />DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br />Lease Revenue Bond (collected as property tax): <br />Municipal Center <br />Certificates of Indebtedness <br />CIP Bond - Fire Station #1 <br /> <br />453,062 <br />409,354 <br />149,696 <br /> <br />1,012,112 <br /> <br />DRAINAGE DISTRICT LEVY <br />Mississippi River Stormwater Subdrainage District <br /> <br />43,348 <br /> <br />TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES <br /> <br />$9.059.173 <br /> <br />2) That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $354,372.38 related to the $4,225,000 <br />GO Improvement Bond, Series 2005B, as per Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka <br />County. Anoka County is required to pay directly to the City, this debt service amount. <br /> <br />3) That the City of Ramsey will not be levying $172,200 and $77,542.50 related to <br />Certificates of Indebtedness 2003 and 2004 respectively. These certificates will be <br />funded via transfer in the amount of $249,743 from the Equipment Revolving Fund to <br />cover the debt service payments. <br />
