Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />City Clerk Jo Thieling <br />Police Chief James Way <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:04 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Consider Dram Shop Insurance Requirement Increase <br /> <br />City Clerk Thieling reviewed that Council requested a review of dram shop insurance <br />requirements for liquor establishments with a possible increase to that amount. Ramsey City <br />Code refers to State Statutes for insurance coverage and does not require a higher amount. Staff <br />examined the files of the liquor establishments in the City to review what coverage each one <br />carries. Every establishment exceeds the liability amount required. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen noted that Mansetti's, Spectators and Diamonds have lower insurance <br />coverage than the rest of the establishments. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / September 11,2007 <br />Page 1 of6 <br />
