the money has to come out of his district, he will not be getting much because his district is pretty <br />well built up. He suggested looking at other funding. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder reported that money for park development comes from the landfill interest fund, <br />interest earnings from the park development fund and also from lawful gambling. <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commissioner Johns stated that if you put 140 new homes into a subdivision, <br />there will be a need for a park in that district. <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commissioner Droegemueller reiterated his frustration at trying to do so much <br />with so little. <br /> <br />Mr. Boos stated that there is the opportunity to borrow money from one district to another for <br />example if a trail connect is shared. <br /> <br />Planning Commissioner Thomd recollected when he was a youth, companies built and maintained <br />ball fields. <br /> <br />Mr. Boos stated that a lot of things are donated. <br /> <br />Planning Commissioner Thorud suggested listing the donations in the Ramsey Resident so people <br />know about them. <br /> <br />Planning Commissioner Deemer asked if 153rd would be out for construction this year. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder replied that he thought 1998 would be the construction year. The firm is in the <br />process of working on that. <br /> <br />Planning Commissioner Deemer pointed out that the Planning Commission does not see the new <br />roads and they have no idea what's going on.
