Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry regarding Findings of Fact, <br />number nine, that the proposed zoning amendment will not substantially adversely impair the use of <br />market value of any surrounding property. <br /> <br />Motion Carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Holland, and <br />Jensen. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners LaDue and Thorud. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Terry and seconded by Commissioner Deemer regarding Findings of Fact, <br />number ten, that the proposed zoning amendment will not change the essential character of the area. <br /> <br />Motion Carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Terry, Deemer, Holland, and <br />Jensen. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners LaDue and Thorud. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry accepting the Findings of <br />Fact as amended. <br /> <br />Motion Carded. Absent: Commissioners LaDue and Thorud. <br /> <br />Motion <br />Council <br />West to <br /> <br />by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to recommend that City <br />approve the request from Williams Investments, Inc. to rezone Lot 3, Block 4, Riverside <br />R-1 Urban Residential based on the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />Motion Carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Holland, and <br />Jensen. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners LaDue and Thorud. <br /> <br />Commissioner Holland inquired about the number of lots being planned for development. Ms. Frolik <br />responded there is 220 feet of frontage on Ebony Street with a depth of 200 feet. Cfiven this, there <br />would be at least two lots; a third would be questionable. <br /> <br />Case #~: <br /> <br />Request for a Conditional use permit to Grade and Export Soils; case of <br />Thomas Kurak <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Jensen to table the Request for a <br />Conditional Use permit to Grade and Export Soils; case of Thomas Kurak with accompanying public <br />hearing until the May 6, 1997, regular Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Motion Carded.
