<br />Councilmember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-07-170 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RATIFYING CHANGE ORDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW <br />RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council established by resolution levels of authority on May 24th, <br />2005, for the approval of project change orders to allow for construction to proceed while <br />managing minor project changes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the established levels of Authority for the Construction of the new Ramsey <br />Municipal Center are as follows: City Council approval required for change orders greater than <br />$25,000, City Council ratification of all change orders less than $25,000, Facility Committee <br />approval required for change orders greater than $10,000 but less than $25,000, ratification by <br />City Council, Project Team of Heidi A. Nelson, Interim City Administrator approval required for <br />change orders not greater than $10,000, ratification by City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following change orders have been reviewed by BKV Group and 3D/I <br />Construction Managers and have been approved by either the Facility Committee or the Project <br />Team. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />Change Order No. 1096-03 $3,314.02 <br />Repaint various areas; DOC modifications. <br />Change Order No. 1161-13 $5,992.00 <br />Power to motorized shades; emergency shut down switch; intercom; removal of <br />fixtures; exterior Police globe light. <br />Change Order No. 1151-16 $783.16 <br />Backcharge for damage to room; particulate filter. <br />Change OrderNo. 1091-11 $(364.81) <br />Backcharge for damage to roof. <br />Change Order No. 1 09J -1 0 $(2,666.41) <br />Backcharge for damage to roof; Backcharge for work completed by others; credit <br />for supplies not installed; curved ceiling; move windows; fill and tape drywall <br />gap; provide pipe chase; reinstall door frames; backcharge for work not <br />completed; backcharge for bowed frame; backcharge for door modifications; <br />install cement board and plaster. <br />Change Order No. 1071-09 $2,188.84 <br />Roof maintenance and repair backcharged to other contractors. <br />Change Order No. 1081-07 $(673.15) <br />Backcharge for roof damage. <br />Change Order No. 1061-22 $3,740.00 <br />Wall guards in PD; Shades in training Room. <br />Change Order No. 1061-21 $364.81 <br />Backcharge for roof damage. <br /> <br />TOTAL CHANGE ORDERS 06/27/07-07/09/07: <br /> <br />$12,678.46 <br />
