<br />Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-07-177 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WATERS-OLDANI EXECUTIVE RECRUITMENT TO <br />NEGOTIATE AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE SELECTED <br />CANDIDATE FOR THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR POSITION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Ramsey began conducting a recruitment process for the city <br />administrator position in January 2007; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 13, 2007 the city council interviewed six finalists for the city <br />administrator position; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city council selected Patrick Trudgeon and Kurt Ulrich to advance in <br />the recruitment process for the city administrator position; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the July 23, 2007 work session the Ramsey City Council selected Mr. <br />Kurt Ulrich to serve as the city's next city administrator. <br /> <br />, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />1) Directs Andrea Sims of Waters-Oldani Executive Recruitment to negotiate an employment <br />agreement with Mr. Kurt Ulrich. <br /> <br />2) Directs staff to bring,the employment agreement to the city council for consideration upon <br />completion of the negotiations. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Look, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br />
