Absent: None. <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />The following Council minutes were noted: <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated July 10, 2007 <br />2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated July 24, 2007 <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS /COMMISSION BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Public Hearing — Request for Comprehensive Plan Amendment; Case of <br />TSM Development LLC <br />Chairperson Nixt closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 7:37 p.m. in <br />order to call the public hearing to order. <br />Public Hearing <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order at 7:37 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />Associate Planner Geisler stated that TSM Development has applied for subdivision and site plan <br />approval to develop a new commercial project on the corner of Ramsey Blvd and Bunker Lake <br />Boulevard. The project requires a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the land use on a <br />portion of the site from Places to Work to Places to Shop. <br />The City approved a Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the 2 corner parcels in 2004, from <br />Places to Work to Places to Shop. On August 28, 2007 the City Council introduced a rezoning <br />for these 2 parcels from E -1 Employment to B -1 Business. The southern 5.00 feet of Outlot A <br />must also receive a Comprehensive Plan Amendment and rezoning for the project to move <br />forward as proposed. <br />City Staff recommends approval of the Comprehensive Plan amendment. <br />Citizen Input <br />There was none. <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Levine, to close the public hearing. <br />Motion Carried.
