CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, October 9, 2007, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Also Present: Acting City Administrator/Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Police Chief James Way (arrived at 6:30 p.m.) <br />City Attorney William K..Goodrich (arrived at 6:34 p.m.) <br />Jacqueline Corkell, Anoka County Highway Department <br />Jim Dvorak, SRF Engineering <br />Don DeMars, SRF Engineering <br />Nancy Fricke, SRF Engineering <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:46 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Introduction to Highway #10 Interchange Design Work <br />Public Works Director Olson stated that the City, along with the County and MnDOT has begun <br />the preliminary interchange design work for Highway 10, Sunfish Lake Boulevard and Ramsey <br />Boulevard. He stated that the concept plan has been narrowed down to three choices. He noted <br />that this is for the ultimate improvement of these roads and has nothing to do with hard <br />channelization.
