He stated these prospects include a printing company, a biotech manufacturer, a <br />precision tooling company, a bearing manufacturing company from Wisconsin, and a law firm. <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan updated the EDA on an American Family <br />Insurance company grand opening <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan updated the EDA on the Business Appreciation <br />Day held on August 21, 2007. He thanked everyone that assisted with the event. He reported <br />thank you letters signed by him and the Mayor were sent out to businesses that sponsored holes <br />or donated prizes. <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan updated the EDA on Community Revitalization <br />Projects to include 5175 142nd Avenue NW, 14050 Basalt Street, 14230 Basalt Street NW, and <br />6590 141 st Avenue. <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan updated the EDA on the Town Center, additional <br />parcels identified for acquisition, and the Highway 47 /16ih Commercial Node. <br /> <br />Member Steffen asked about the Green Tour and the Web site. <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan replied he needed to have Interim City <br />Administrator Nelson report on this. <br /> <br />MEMBER INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Economic Development Authority/September 6, 2007 <br />Page 7 of8 <br />
