<br />Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-09-260 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS, APPROVING A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />AMENDMENT TO CHANGE A LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM PLACES TO WORK TO <br />PLACES TO SHOP, AND AUTHORIZING CITY STAF]! TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO <br />THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 8, 2007, the City of Ramsey received an application from TSM <br />Development (the "Property Owner") requesting an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to change the <br />future land use designation from Places to Wark to Places to Shop for the following legally described . <br />property: <br /> <br />The southern 500 feet of Outlot A, Regency Pond, according to the recorded plat thereof, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota, <br /> <br />EXCEPT <br /> <br />That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 32, <br />Range 25, that is described as follows to-wit-commencing at a point on the west line of <br />said section which point is 209 feet north of the southwest comer of said Northwest <br />Quarter of Northwest Quarter as measured along said west line, then proceed east and <br />parallel to the south line of said section for a distance of 209 feet, thence proceed north <br />and parallel to the west line of said section for a distance of 209 feet, then proceed west <br />and parallel to the first course to the west line of said section, then proceed south along <br />the west line of said section point of commencement except road subject to easement of <br />record. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter described as follows: <br />Commencing at a point on the west line of said section which point is 209 feet north of <br />southwest comer of said Northwest Quarter of Northwest Quarter as measured along said <br />west line, thence proceed east and parallel to the south line of said section for a distance <br />of 209 feet thence proceed south and parallel to west line of said section for a distance of <br />209 feet, thence proceed west and parallel to first course to the west line of said section <br />thence proceed north along west line of said section to point of commencement, Section <br />27, Township 32, Range 25, except road subject to easement of record. <br /> <br />(The Subject Property) <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan approved in 2001 shows the Subject Property <br />designated land use as Places to Work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property owners are requesting that the Subject Property designated land use be <br />changed to Places to Shop; and <br />
