<br />Councilmember Olson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-09-263 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0809 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FROM GGJ PROPERTIES TO MAINTAIN TWO "MAIN" BUILDINGS <br />(PRINCIPAL USES) ON ONE PROPERTY. <br /> <br />GGJ Properties, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", properly applied to the City of <br />Ramsey (the "City") for an Interim Use Permit to maintain two main buildings on one property at <br />6760 Highway 10 and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, RIVERSIDE WEST <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on September 6, 2007 and that the <br />public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated by reference; <br /> <br />2) That the Subject Property is approximately 2 acres in size and is zoned B-2 Business. <br /> <br />3) That Section 9.11.01 states that no more than one "main" building shall be allowed on <br />anyone lot. <br /> <br />4) That the subject property currently has one main building and one accessory building use <br />for warehousing. <br /> <br />5) That Section 9.03.06(1) (Interim Use Permits) of the Ramsey City Code allows for <br />interim uses to allow a use for a limited period of time that reasonably utilizes the <br />property where it is not reasorlable to utilize it in the manner provided by the <br />comprehensive guide and to allow a use that is presently acceptable but that, with <br />anticipated development, will not be acceptable in the future. <br /> <br />6) That on August 10, 2007, the Applicant submitted an application requesting an Interim <br />Use Permit to permit two "main" buildings (principal uses) on the Subject Property to <br />remodel the accessory building into office/warehousing space for lease. <br /> <br />7) That on September 6, 2007 the Ramsey Planning Commission held a public hearing to <br />consider the Applicant's request and recommended approval to the City Council. <br /> <br />8) That the proposed uses will conform to all building and fire/fire suppression codes. <br /> <br />9) That the propqsed interim use will not result in adverse effects on the public health, safety <br />and welfare of the residents of the City. <br />
