<br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced that there will be a Fire Department Open House on Saturday, October <br />13tli from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Fire Station 1 at 15050 Armstrong Boulevard. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he was also happy to announce that the City has received permission <br />for the post office located inside the Dollar Store to remain open. <br /> <br />Councilmember Olson stated that this information is no longer accurate because the Dollar Store <br />is closing and the owner is not offering these services anymore. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced that the new Anytime Fitness Center is open. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvigannounced that the new Holiday Station is open. <br /> <br />Acting City Administrator/Finance Officer Lund stated that staff needs to know if the City <br />Council supports having a joint meeting the Anoka City Council on Thursday, December 13, <br />2007, 5:30 p.m. at Greenhaven. <br /> <br />There was a consensus of the City Council that this date and time will work for the Joint Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey noted that the Personnel Committee will meet on Wednesday, October <br />10th to interview candidates for Boards and Committees. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The regular meeting <?fthe City Council adjourned at 10:42 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Diana Lund <br />Acting CityAdministrator/Finance Officer <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Jo Ann M.
