Councilmember introduced the following resolution. and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #07-11- <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING .FINDINGS OF FACT. # TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM B-2 BUSINESS TOR-1 RESIDENTIAL <br />WHEREAS, on October 9, 2007 the City.. Council directed Staff to advertise a public <br />hearing on a request to rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 (Zoning <br />Amendments) of the Ramsey City Code. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the -City of Ramsey, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied to <br />rezone certain property from B-2 Business to R-1 Residential. <br />2. That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant. to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on November 1, 2007 and said public hearing was properly advertised, and <br />the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br />3: That the properly proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br />Lot 3, Block 4, Riverside West, Anoka County, Minnesota, according to the <br />recorded plat thereof and that part of Lot 1, Block 1, Riverview Bawl, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota according to the recorded plat thereof lying southerly of the <br />westerly extension of the north line of Lot 2, Block 1, said plat of Riverview Bowl. <br />4. That the total area of the property to be rezoned is 1.1 acres in size. <br />5. That no development is proposed for the Subject Property at this time. <br />6. That the proposed.rezoning is located within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) <br />boundary. <br />7. That the' Subject Property is currently zoned B=2 Busiress and the surrounding properties <br />are zoned B-2 Business and R-1 Residential. . <br />8. That the Subject Property is located within the Mississippi River Overlay District. <br />9. That the proposed rezoning, as proposed, will/will not be compatible with surrounding land <br />uses. <br /> <br />-319- <br />
