CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, October 23, <br />2007, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Members Absent: Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Police Chief James Way <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Chandra Kreyer <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:01 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Alcohol Ordinance Revisions <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that staff would like to change some of the Alcohol Ordinance <br />language to make it more readable and more easily understood. <br />Police Chief Way stated that he would take the City Council through the revisions page by page. <br />Councilmember Dehen asked what problems the City had that necessitated the revisions. <br />Police Chief Way stated that there were not problems, but many were typographic type changes, <br />and other reworded things so they were easier to understand.
