CONSIDER POLICY REGARDING TRANSPORTATION IMPACT FEES <br /> By: Steven Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On March 12, 1996, the City Council passed legislation instituting a Transportation Impact Fee to <br />be collected from new developments at both subdivision platting and issuance of building permits. <br />It was suggested by Council that a policy outlining the use of funds collected from that fee be <br />established. Attached to this case is a draft of such policy. <br /> <br />Also attached to this case is the resolution authorizing the Transportation Impact Fee as well as the <br />calculations establishing the impact fee amount. The final adopted policy should be consistent with <br />these documents. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Review policy and modify or expand as necessary.
