Voting No: None. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />The City Council regular meeting minutes dated May 14, 1996 and May 28, 1996 were noted. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden adjourned the regular Planning Commission meeting at 7:36 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the following public hearing: <br /> <br />1. Request to Rezone Certain Property from R-1 Rural Residential to R-3 Urban <br /> Residential; Case of New Life Church <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the regular Planning Commission meeting back to order at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request to Rezone Certain Property from R-I Rural Residential to R-3 Urban <br />Residential; Case of New Life Church <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik explained the property was eleven acres and the proposed Findings of <br />Fact were enclosed with the agenda. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated he had no problem with a church, but when changed from R-1 to R-3, it <br />needs to be identified as unsewered and undevelopable at R-3 density. Ms. Frolik stated there are <br />performance standards for both R-3 sewered and R-3 unsewered in City Code. Commissioner Deemer <br />stated the City does not intend to extend municipal facilities that far. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission proceeded to review the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Jensen to accept #1 through #6 as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/July 2, 1996 <br /> Page 2 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
