PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, September 3, 1996, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to hear input <br />regarding a Request for a Conditional Use Permit for a Personal Communication Systems Tower; <br />Case of American Portable Telecom. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Sharon Jensen <br />Commissioner Chares LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the public hearing to order at 7:50 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik explained that the applicant is requesting approval to construct <br />and operate a personal communication service tower. Ms. Frolik explained that the tower would be <br />located on the north side of Highway #10, west of Armstrong Boulevard. The tower will be <br />approximately 165 feet high. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Keith Dyer, representing American Portable Telecom, stated that they have met the conditions of the <br />Conditional Use Permit. He explained that they have contacted neighboring properties, and have <br />heard no objections.
