CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 1996, at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota, 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith <br />Attorney Jerry Randall <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:03 p.m. and led in the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Terry Hendriksen, 15631 Ramsey Boulevard NW, Ramsey, recalled that at the last meeting Becky <br />Lemke was concerned that the circulators of the petition proposing a Charter amendment were not <br />informed. He commented that the gentleman who circulated the petition in Becky's neighborhood is 70 <br />years old and maybe was not able to debate with Ms. Lemke; however, he is very knowledgeable and <br />familiar with this process. He presented the City Council with the petitions, stating he has enough <br />registered signatures. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the agenda <br />with the deletion of Case//5: Planning Commission Appointment. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer and Peterson. Voting <br />No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberBeahen. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to approve the <br />following items on the Consent Agenda: <br /> <br />City Council/February 27, 1996 <br /> Page 2 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
